Terms & Conditions

Last updated: October 2026

1. Provider and scope

These terms apply to all orders placed through this website with:

Marvin Cengiz (publishing under the name Marvin Hilton, operating as MH Media Group / The Rein Magazine)
Am Rothenberg 23, 35075 Gladenbach, Germany
Email: contact@thereinmagazine.com

They apply to consumers (people who order for purposes that are mostly outside their trade or profession) and to business customers. Different terms of the customer do not apply, even if we do not expressly object to them.

2. Products

We offer The Rein Magazine in print: as an annual subscription (four issues, one every season) and as single issues. The digital edition of Issue 00 can be read free of charge on this website.

3. How a contract is made

The presentation of our products on the website is not a binding offer. You make a binding offer when you click "Place order" at the end of the order process. Before that, you can check and change your details at any time (the "Edit order" and "Edit details" buttons). We confirm that we received your order on the confirmation page. The contract is concluded when we confirm your order on the confirmation page, which shows your invoice.

The text of the contract (your order and these terms) is not stored by us in a way you can retrieve online. Please save your invoice as a PDF on the confirmation page. You can read these terms at any time on this page.

4. Prices and payment

All prices are in euros. As a small business under § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG) we charge no value-added tax, so the prices shown contain no VAT. Shipping is charged in addition to the price. We send each copy as a large letter by Deutsche Post (Großbrief): €1.80 per shipment within Germany and €3.30 per shipment to every other country. A single issue is one shipment. A subscription is shipped four times a year, once per issue, so shipping is charged for four shipments (€7.20 per subscription year within Germany, €13.20 to every other country). The shipping costs are shown to you in the order review, before you place your order, and on your invoice.

You pay on invoice by bank transfer. Please transfer the invoice amount within 14 days of the invoice date to the account shown on the invoice, quoting the invoice number. The QR code on the invoice can fill in the transfer for you.

If you have a discount code, you can enter it in the order review. A code reduces the price of the magazine (not the shipping) as stated for that code. Codes cannot be combined with each other and cannot be paid out in cash.

The launch offer for Issue 00 (25% off the first year of a subscription and off a single issue) applies to orders placed while it is shown on the website.

5. Delivery

We ship worldwide, as a letter without a tracking number. We ship your copy once your payment has arrived. If your payment has not arrived within the payment period, we may remind you and, if the payment is still missing after a reasonable further period, cancel the order. Delivery times depend on the destination country. Customs duties and import taxes outside the EU, if any, are paid by the customer.

6. Subscriptions

A subscription covers four issues, one every season. It starts with the issue that is current when we ship your first copy, unless we agree otherwise with you. The first year is invoiced in advance.

The subscription renews automatically for another year at the regular price shown on this website at that time (currently €43.00 per year). We send you a new invoice for each renewal year. The launch price applies to the first year only, as shown at the time of your order. If the regular price changes, we tell you before we send the renewal invoice.

You can cancel your subscription at any time by emailing us at the address above. A cancellation stops the renewal: you still receive the issues of the year you have already paid for, and we send no further invoice. This does not affect your statutory right of withdrawal, see our Cancellation Policy.

7. Right of withdrawal

Consumers have a right of withdrawal for subscriptions, with the details set out in our Cancellation Policy, including the model withdrawal form. There is no right of withdrawal for the purchase of a single issue of a magazine (§ 312g (2) no. 7 of the German Civil Code, BGB).

8. Statutory warranty

The statutory rules on defects apply. If your copy arrives damaged or defective, please email us a short description and, if possible, a photo. We will send you a replacement copy free of charge as long as it is available.

9. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are only liable for the breach of an essential contractual obligation (an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper performance of the contract possible in the first place and on which you can regularly rely), and then only for the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Otherwise our liability is excluded. These limits also apply to the personal liability of our employees and agents. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

10. Copyright

The texts, photographs and layout of The Rein Magazine and of this website are protected by copyright. You may read them and keep your copy for your own use, but you may not copy, publish or pass on content without our written permission.

11. Data protection

How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

12. Applicable law and disputes

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not take away the mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which you have your habitual residence. For business customers, the place of jurisdiction is Gladenbach, Germany, as far as the law allows.

We are neither willing nor obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.

13. Final provisions

The contract language is English. If a provision of these terms is or becomes invalid, the other provisions remain valid. We may update these terms; the version valid at the time of your order applies to your contract.
